This is the second books in The Seelie Wars series. Snail and Prince Aspen are on the run from
both the Seelie and Unseelie courts, who both want to kill Aspen since he ran
away from his role as the Hostage Prince in the Unseelie court. His escape almost certainly means that war
will come between the two courts and Aspen is desperate to stop it but doesn’t
know how. In the meantime, the two have
fallen in with a small group of traveling players, who have taken them in
because Snail is, as they say, skarm drema, but neither she nor Aspen know what
that means for quite some time.
Professor Odds, the person in charge of the group is very interested in
Snail and quickly figures out who the two of them are. Although they are moderately safe for a
while, they are both still worried about the future, and life gets even more
complicated when Huldra, the ogre whose baby Snail delivered in the previous
book, appears with her baby, Og. This is
a good fantasy series for kids with lots of adventure and excitement.
