Tiny Leaps, Big Changes

Tiny Leaps, Big Changes: Everyday Strategies to Accomplish More, Crush Your Goals, and Create the Life You Want by Gregg Clunis

Audio Book:  4 hours, 11 minutes      Paperback Book:  224 pages

Good book with lots of good info on the two kinds of procrastination  and how to attainment the mindset that will push you through your self-doubts and procrastinating ways that bring disappointment and a feeling of failure.   He talks about the two kinds of procrastination and how the positive kind can work toward your betterment and a deeper understanding of your triggers that cause you to give up and how to reset your mind to pick up positive cues even in moderation that will guide you toward accomplishing your goals whether they be having more money, getting a better position in your chosen field, doing the one thing you would love to do but just don’t believe in yourself enough to push toward, writing a book,  climbing Mount Kilamanjaro, singing in front of an audience,  entering a marathon race doesn’t matter where you finish as long as you are in it.    The author also does a podcast with motivational speakers as guests such as Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, etc.  This book has a lot of quotes and lots of ideas on how to be able to achieve completion of whatever it is you have been putting off.   He is very down to earth and has effective suggestions for spurring the reader on to arriving at what your dream, your goal, your purpose is and once you get that in place, he walks you through how to plan your strategy for making it a reality.    Good easy read with easy instructions to give you a road map or several to achieve all your hearts desires – it is all about the mindset and finding what you love and want to pursue – he says that is the problem with a lot of people, they think they have failed but it is because they have tried to force themselves to follow someone else’s dream for them or someone else’s idea on what they should be doing and not their own.   Gregg Clunis helps the reader make the association with what it is the reader honestly wants to accomplish in life.    The reader may not even fully realize themselves what they want, but, Mr. Clunis helps the reader establish that in concrete terms then takes the reader through each of the next steps assuring you there are no shortcuts nor get arounds – its like exercise – if you want to lose weight you have to strategize to determine you are going to eat right not just today or for 10 minutes but from now on and for the rest of your life.   And once you put the icecream and chips down you have to get up off of the couch and move it, move it.  (I love that little King Meercat frm”Madagascar.”)     Lots of good help to be found here and finally someone who not only says “do what you love,”  he helps you figure out what you love and works with you to get things popping toward wat your love,  continues to help you come up with what you need to do to have it then teaches you how to decipher the steps to having it.    Well done, Gregg Clunis.   He says we don’t have things until we really WANT them that is the key.   Knowing we have to do to do a thing doesn’t cut it,  we have to work it out in a way that is meaningful to our way of thinking then it becomes a snap till then procrastination rules.   He makes it all so simple and clear.  Good job.  Yes, I would recommend this book especially to those struggling with things they just can’t wrap their heads around he can help you clarify the beyond me tasks into well that was easy triumphs!
