“Many surprises await
twelve-year-old Edwy Watanaboneset when the Freds return him to Cursed Town,
including that he has siblings in Refuge City who he will join in boarding
school.” I didn’t realize that this was the second book
in the series and I hadn’t read the first when I started it. I definitely would not recommend reading
these out of order. It was very clear
that I had missed a lot. However, this
is typical; Haddix and kids who like science fiction will undoubtedly want to
read this series.
