“Jake, a budding juvenile delinquent, is
sent for home schooling to the arty and eccentric Applewhite family's Creative
Academy, where he discovers talents and interests he never knew he had.” This is a fantastic realistic story,
although it is a little outlandish. The
Applewhites are everyone’s eccentric aunt, except that the whole family is like
that, with the exception of daughter, E.D.
This is a great pick for kids who like funny stories as well.
