This collection of short stories is very odd, which is fairly typical for this author.  The story “The Golden Shroud” is a rather gruesome retelling of Rapunzel.  “Into The Clouds On High” is a story about a boy who is afraid of losing his mother in a very unusual way.  “The Ferryman” is about the man who helps people cross from life to death.  These are just a sample of the ten stories in this book.
