Meg is a cassandre sangue, which means that she can see the

ran and found herself in the Lakeside Courtyard, land owned by the Others. Luckily, she also finds a job as their human
liaison and thus, protection from the humans who seek her. Since the Others are vampires, shapeshifters,
and other, scarier elementals, Meg feels mostly safe, except, perhaps, from the
Others themselves. A really good fantasy
novel, many fans of the supernatural will like this book.
