Unhinged by A.G. Howard, 387 pages
The sequel to Splintered focuses much more on the
relationships between the various characters and a little less on the details
of Wonderland. However, there is plenty
of magic and enough of the Alice story to keep those fans reading. Alyssa is just trying to live in the human
world but Wonderland, according to Morpheus, is eroding. He has been trying to get Alyssa to come back
and help Wonderland. In this story it
appears that Queen Red has escaped and is in the human world, determined to
hurt Alyssa and her family. Alyssa needs
to figure out how to save both Wonderland and the human world, and save her
family and friends at the same time.
This is a solid sequel and teens who enjoyed the first book should like
it. Give this series to teens who like
fantasy, especially fans of Alice in Wonderland.
