Miles had his first serious episode of schizophrenia two
years ago. His family was at the beach
and while they were focused on him, his little brother, Teddy,
disappeared. Most people seem to think
that he drowned but one witness said they saw a little boy get in a car with
someone. Miles is sure that Teddy is
alive and is determined to find him so that their family can heal and Miles can
stop blaming himself. If only Miles can
figure out if which things are real and which aren’t, he’s sure he can figure
out what happened to Teddy. This is a
really good story about mental illness that would appeal to a lot of teens.
