When I first started this book I was dismayed, especially since I was at lunch and this was the only reading material I had with me. The writing style is a series of single sentences or anecdotes and at first they seemed unrelated. It is almost a stream of consciousness style of writing. But as you continue to read you start to pick out the storyline of a woman and man as they meet, get married, have a child etc. I would recommend it
