Mirror Sight

Mirror Sight By Kristen Britain
775 Pages

The latest installment of Britain's green rider series continues where that last book left off, Karrigan G'ladheon is thrown into the future when she destroys the mirror mask in order to keep Mornhavon from gaining control of the powerful artifact.  She quickly finds out that in the future that everything she held dear is gone, destroyed by the Second Empire.  Now she must find a way to get back to her time and warn King Zachary of this future in hopes they can prevent it from happening.

The plot of this series revolves around the character Karrigan and she continues to be the focus in this book.  This book would be popular with readers of fantasy and fans of Robert Jordan. The only drawback is that fans may begin to tire of the lack of any resolving of major plot lines, a flaw from which many fantasy series suffer.

Green Rider

Green Rider by Kristen Britain
504 Pages

This first book of the Green Rider series begins with Karigan G'ladahon running away from the school she has just been suspended at when she stumbles across a dying messenger.  As he dies he makes Karigan promise to deliver the message he is carrying.  She accepts and finds herself thrown headlong in a series of dangerous adventures with people out to kill her and dependent upon the messenger's horse, who seems to know more than any horse should.

An entertaining start to a pretty good series, this book was a good example of fantasy fiction.

First Rider's Call

First Rider's Call by Kristen Britain
484 Pages

The second title of the Green Rider series continues the saga of Karigan, one of the newest of the King's Messengers.  As the Blackveil forest begins to stir with evil, Karigan finds herself in the middle of all the hoopla and it will be up to her to find a way to save the kingdom with the aid of the first green rider who died hundreds of years ago.

The series continues to be fun to read and Britain does a good job of continuing the development of her fantasy world.
