Good Grief by Theresa Caputo (The Long Island Medium) Audio Book: 7 hours, 1 minute Hardback Book: 224 pages
Having watched “The Long Island Medium,” on the TLC cable channel I was intrigued when I came across this book. Being fascinated with all things paranormal I was hooked and had to check it out. I enjoyed this book. Theresa has a fun down to earth way of talking and getting to the point without a lot of unnecessary babble. I like that. Maybe it is her Jersey/Long Island upbringing that has that great way of drawing you in but the ride is always amusing and I like to hear what she has to say. In this book she specifically deals with people who are grieving for a departed loved one regardless the circumstances of the departed one’s death she has the finesse to deal with the emotions of those seeking contact as tenderly as a friend offering solace and direction. There are many cases cited here that she has dealt with and it makes for a most interesting and entertaining read. If you are a fan you will definetly like this read. If you are not a fan, you might become one or at least consider the possibility that there is more to life than what we experience here. Kind of like sitting across the table with family and listening to the stories and recollections. Well done.
