This is the second book of the third farseer trilogy Hobb has written revolving around Fitzchivalry  Farseer and the fool.  I love Robin Hobb and she is one of my favorite authors and she doesn't disappoint in this book.  If you have read the other books in the series you'll be happy with this latest entry.  If you haven't read them I highly recommend reading them first since they build and set the stage for this trilogy.
