Illusion by Sherrilyn Kenyon, 448 pages
The newest book in The Chronicles of Nick has Nick switching bodies with a different Nick in a parallel universe. Perhaps because his powers were just bound, or maybe because he’s not in the right body, Nick is unable to access any of his powers. This is really bad, because it seems like, even in this dimension, his enemies have found him and they have ways to use him even without his powers. Unless Nick can figure out who his friends are, or better yet, either get his friends to this dimension or get his soul back in its rightful body, this could be the end. A nice addition to the series, I wouldn’t recommend reading these books out of order. There are parts of the book that won’t make as much sense unless the earlier books in the series have been read. However fans of the series will like it. People, especially teens, who are interested in fantasy would probably like the series.
