National Geographic Kids Ultimate Weird But True Hardback Book: 192 pages
I can’t put these books down they are such fun to read. From the Air Pod a tiny car that runs on compressed air rather than fuel and weighs as much as four 12 year olds; the Walking House that stores rainwater and runs on wind and solar power – yes – it also walks making moving a breeze (literally); lots of cool animal stuff in here too – the surfing cat, the hangliding dog, a fish named Albert Einstein that plays soccer (football to the rest of the world); a pig who is afraid of dirt and mud and wears doll boots tokeep from getting its feet dirty; the hen that babysits a litter of puppies; you will learn how a basilisk lizard can walk/run on water; see if you can find Chinese artist, Liu Bolin when he disappears into one of his scenes; see a man-made island in the shape of a palm tree in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; learn that a hurricane weighs as much as 160 million rhinos; see and learn about circumzenithal arcs or in laymen’s terms and upside down rainbow – yeah they do exist’ See deep fried scorpions on a stick are a delicacy in China; see wedding dresses made out of toilet paper – man, that would be a savings!
