I love this stuff.   I can’t get enough of it.     Learning new ways to repurpose loads of items everybody has around the house.     Love it.    I am committing to memory that WD-40 will unstick your fingers if you get super glue on them.   Fantastic to know.   It hasn’t happened to me, yet, but, it did happen to someone I know and her husband ended up using a knife to separate her fingers!    WD-40, got it!   Not to mention, it also can be used to get stains out of clothes.    Don’t toss out that Brillo pad till you use it to sharpen your scissors by using them to cut the steel wool which actually sharpens them in the process. I never thought about using a flathead screwdriver as a letter opener but it makes sense that one could.    You can use sandpaper to open stubborn jar lids.    Or that if you turn a plunger upside down and stick it in the dirt in your yard, you can put a citronella candle in the plunger part (now on top) light it and enjoy being outside in your yard sans mosquitoes.    Lighter fluid takes off sticker or price tag residue.    You can put a magnet over your car door lock in Winter to prevent it from freezing.   Put camphor or a mentholated rub in one of those cheappy painter’s masks to use as an inhaler when you have a cold saving you from having to rub it on your skin.   If you get a blister on your foot put a gauze pad over the actual blister then duct tape over that wrapped around your foot.   The gauze will stay in place and won’t come off like a bandaid would.   Before you pack your cooler away for the winter wrap a couple of charcoal briquettes in paper towels and put them inside.    That way, even with the lid on the cooler will stay dry and fresh.   You can do the same thing with clothes you pack away in plastic containers so they don’t mildew.   They also keep flower water fresh so it doesn’t go all slimy and foul smelling.    Box cutters make great pastry cutters especially for those lattice topped pies.   Aligator clips are great for attaching those beautiful snowflakes your little ones make to the Christmas tree or you can string popcorn, cranberries, etc. to string then alligator c lip them around the tree, etc. for decorating.    Also great for mounting photos.   Left over wrapping paper?   Shred it and use it for pet bedding yours or donate it to shelters.   Tissue paper left over – stuff inside purses just like the department stores do to keep their shape.    Also good for shoes, boots anything you want to hold its shape.   And if you wad up some tissue paper and put it in the bottom of your cookie jar it will absorb any moisture and keep your cookies fresh longer.   Straws can be used to support fresh flowers when the stems start to bend or droop, just use scotch tape and wrap it around the straw and stem and the straw will act as a splint to hold the flower up thus keeping it looking beautiful longer.      Repair your eyeglasses with a paperclip.    I recommend this book to everyone.     You will learn so much here you will feel ever so much brighter and never look at a 99 cent store or dollar store without coming up with multiple ideas for everything you see.    I LOVE THIS BOOK!
