TheDoorman’s Repose by Chris Raschka, 169 pages
"Some of us look up at those
craggy, mysterious apartment buildings found in the posher parts of New York
City and wonder what goes on inside. The Doorman's Repose collects ten stories
of the doings of 777 Garden Avenue, one of the craggiest." This is an odd little collection of
stories but I liked them. I probably
would only give this to kids who enjoyed reading, and probably to kids who
enjoyed old fashioned or eclectic types of stories.
