US!!! That's right - SLPL was awarded the coveted MO Book Challenge trophy at the Missouri Library Association Conference this week. Take a gander at Terra and Kara accepting our spectacular trophy.
Any SLPL staff who are reading this and aren't already contributing reviews to the blog - we need YOU! Let's keep our winning streak up for a second year!
UPDATE: To help us in our quest to keep up our winning streak, take a gander at the About the Blog page, which has new wild card categories listed. Starting this month, you'll get two points for every book you blog about that was originally published more than 100 years ago, as well as two point for every book told from an animal's perspective. Happy hunting for that perfect 150-year-old book from a cow's point of view!
This blog is the home of the St. Louis Public Library team for the Missouri Book Challenge. The Missouri Book Challenge is a friendly competition between libraries around the state to see which library can read and blog about the most books each year. At the library level, the St. Louis Public Library book challenge blog is a monthly competition among SLPL staff members and branches.
