When
God Made You by Matthew Paul Turner; illustrated
by David Catrow 48 pages
Geared toward kids ages three to
seven, this little book is designed to let kids know that they are special and
unique and were created by God, whom knows them and loves them inside and out.
A very cute, unnamed little girl is
the story’s protagonist. There is no plot, but the rhyming message is clear:
God created YOU, you, knows all about you and He is happiest when you are being
you.
The illustrations are beautiful, but
after the first few pages, don’t seem relevant.
I give When God Made You 3 out of 5 stars in Julie’s world.
I received
this book from Blogging for Books in exchange for this review.
