Jinx was saved from being abandoned in the woods and taken
in by Simon, a wizard. Although Jinx has
been taught that wizards are evil, especially the Bonemaster, he doesn’t
believe that Simon is very evil. Jinx
has always had the ability to see what people are really feeling, even when
what they say doesn’t match their thoughts and Simon’s thoughts and feelings
always seem basically good. The longer
Jinx stays the more interested in magic he becomes, until Simon begins to teach
him a little bit. Everything goes well
until the day that Simon preforms some magic on Jinx and suddenly Jinx can no
longer see people’s feelings. Angry at
Simon and feeling defiant, Jinx starts making decisions that could end
tragically, for him and for others. This
was a really good magic story and I would recommend it especially for kids that
like fairy tales.
