Millennials & management : the essential guide to making it work at work by Lee Caraher
203 Pages
Not surprisingly, the book is about managing employees that fall within Generation Y. This includes determining their motivations, learning how to train them to meet expectations, etc. Most of the information and advice given is self evident and the book is aimed toward Baby Boomer generation managers rather than Generation X managers. However, there were a few tidbits I found to be useful, including working with the employee to find out what they wanted to gain in experience during their tenure at the job. This is based on the assumption that Millennials aren't looking for long-term development at one position but ready to move along toward more money when the opportunity arises.
