This is the third and final book in the Cold Cereal
trilogy. Our heroes are still trying to
defeat the Goodco Company, rescue the Queen of England and reunite the world as
we know it. Scott, with Mick’s help, is
in Pretannica, trying to fix things in that world. Polly, his sister, who is the size of a
pixie, is with Fee, Fi, Fo, and Denzil, actual pixies. They are trying to find a way through to
Pretannica to help. Erno and Emily are
still with Biggs, but are, unfortunately, captured by Goodco agents, when they
realize that Harvey is a traitor. Emily
really needs to get free because she is still experience the effects of eating
Goodco’s cereal and is still a genius.
John and Merle are still planning to kill the dragon, Saxbriton and stop
her from destroying the earth.
Hopefully, between everyone, they can actually accomplish their goals,
otherwise, all worlds, human and fairies, might be finished. The series was only ok, in my opinion. There was so much going on that it was hard
to follow everything. I felt like I
should have gone back and reread the first two books, or at least the one
previous to this, because I was kind of lost part of the time. I definitely wouldn’t read these out of
order. Kids who like magic and fantasy
might enjoy this series but it wouldn’t be my go-to for recommendations.
