Ed already recently reviewed this so I’m not going to talk
about the plot of this book again. I
really enjoyed it. Unlike Ed, I didn’t
hate the ending. I thought that the
whole book, including the ending was pretty typical of how King operates. That being said, I think that King has
mellowed some in recent years. His books
seem to have moved away from blood and gore and gone into a more psychological
thriller direction than his earlier works.
I like both styles, but since I generally find the psychological writing
scarier than the gory, the newer books are pretty satisfying to me, including
this new story. Fans of King and horror
will probably like it.
