I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons by Kevin Hart Audio Book: 11 hours, 17 minutes Hardback Book: 400 pages
Kevin Hart says this isn’t his life story, it’s the construction of his life up to this point and his life is going on. I like that. Man, Kevin Hart tells the good, the bad and the ugly naming names and putting his life out there for the world to know who he is, what he has gone through, his very public marital issues, his father’s addiction, embarrassing moments, happy moments, sad moments ups in his career and the downs, too. Blatantly honest from his birth to the birth of his career in comedy to now. He talks about the mistakes made along the way but there are lots of right things that happened too and many happy accidents. Be ready for laughter because Kevin tells his story in much the same way as he tells his story on stage. Kevin holds a mirror up to himself and allows the reader to see what he sees. A good book. Like haning out with a really close even best friend who is pouring out their heart and soul to you. Good job, Kevin. And after the stories you told on your friends well, they must REALLY be GOOD friends. You have certainly earned your celebrity. Well done.
