Wonder Woman At Super Hero High by Lisa Yee, 237 pages
“Wonder Woman's desire to become a
superhero takes her to Super Hero High, where she juggles new friendships,
intensive training, and a roommate obsessed with social media.” While this isn’t my favorite book by
Yee, I enjoyed it. Probably my biggest
problem with the book is that it used Wonder Woman as her given name and, based
on her origins, that isn’t true, and the fact that she was too wide-eyed and
innocent. However, those flaws aside, I
liked the characters a lot and the story was really well done. I would definitely give this to elementary
and middle school girls interested in super hero or strong girl stories.
