Amphigory Too by
Edward Gorey, 244 pages
Having read the first book by Gorey I somewhat knew what to
expect going into this. But I was still surprised. While the first book had
some stories that only made partial sense this one has some that make none at
all. The most notable example being a seven or eight page “story” that is a
procession of animals all saying random words. There is a rhyming theme to the
words but it’s a little too abstract for me. Read at your sanity's peril.
