Enlightening Delilah by Marion Chesney, 165 pages
In the third book in The School For Manners series, sisters Effy and Amy are taking on a new charge to have married before the end of the Little Season. Delilah, having been spurned by a suitor whom she loved, turned into a terrible flirt and has been breaking men’s hearts everywhere she goes. Her father has turned her over to the sisters in hopes that they can tame her ways and see her safely married. Her previous love, Sir Charles, has returned from the wars and has started to see Delilah in a new light, but still hurt by his previous rejection, she may not be able to forgive him. Another fun jaunt into Regency England, fans of the period and the series will like this addition.
