Unlucky 13 by James Patterson & Maxine Paetro, 384 pages

The Women’s Murder Club is back and so is Mackie Morales, a killer psychopath from Lindsay’s past. Lindsay is investigating a rash of bombings that seem to be exploding from inside of people, as though they had ingested the bomb. In the meantime, Cindy is actively pursuing Mackie, because she believes that Mackie is after Lindsay, and because if she can track her down, it will be an amazing story. Yuki, who is marrying Brady, Lindsay’s boss, ends up in a terrorist situation while on her honeymoon. The fourth member of the club, Claire, is more of a secondary character in this particular volume, but all four work together enough that she still features prominently in the story. There is plenty of action and drama and fans of the series will probably enjoy this addition.
