Let Me Go by Chelsea Cain Audio Book: 13 hours, 3 mins Paperback Book: 384 pages
Really good book. Chelsea Cain is such a good writer. Her characters practically walk off the page she makes them that realistic. Great story with a female serial killer who has a dark sense of humor and a kind heart and helping nature when it suits her. You have to read it to understand but you just can’t help liking the gal at least a little. She can be the angel of death or the most twisted sadistic Jacquiline the Ripper then be down to earth and calm having lively chats then slit somebody’s throat or carve bits of their body up just for her idea of fun. But she is not strictly a dealer of pain, she actually likes a little herself now and then, too. Makes for a truly interesting read. Cain is such a great descriptor- the minute details she comments on actually bring the picture of the people and what is going on just that much clearer in the reader’s mind’s eye. You won’t want to put this one down. It keeps you held in suspense from beginning to end. Well told, great characters, excellent detail. Good people can be bad, bad people can be good, you won’t know who to trust throughout. It is a terrific who one it. I highly recommend it.
