The third book in the Sixty-Eight Rooms series, better read as part of the series. Jack and Ruthie are back in the Thorne Rooms, this time finding adventure in more of the American rooms. They are trying to help a classmate whose ancestor was convicted of crime many years ago, a crime she did not commit. They are also finding out more about ancestors of Jack’s, which may have disastrous consequences. Could Jack erase his own existence? And on top of everything else, they are nearly killed by a huge spider. Can Ruthie and Jack save the day once more?
