Joe Ledger is once again confronted with a zombie epidemic
of enormous proportions. His team
thought they had dealt with the zombie infection and eradicated it but someone
calling herself Mother Night has been playing with them, sending texts and
displaying videos for the world. Zombies
and other infections have been cropping up and Joe and his team, along with
several other government agencies are scrambling to contain the problems and
find out the identity of the person or persons responsible. If they could figure out who they might be
able to figure out why, which could help them put a stop to the
infections. Unfortunately, the entire
team has been stymied and no one is aware that the corruption may stem from
much higher up than they can imagine. A
pretty good zombie story, I liked it better than the first book, Patient
Zero. Although this is a sequel, I
didn’t feel like it was necessary to have read the first book to understand
this one. Fans of horror novels or
action adventure would probably like this story.
