In the final book in The Mortal Instruments series, Clary,
Jace, Alec, Izzy and SImon are still trying to fight Sebastian, who is trying
to completely take over the Shadowhunters.
Sebastian’s goal is to either kill them or use the Infernal Cup to make
them evil and part of his army. As
several Institutes have been attacked, the remaining Shadowhunters have
withdrawn to Idris to recoup and figure out their strategy. Of course, what Sebastian really wants is
Clary and Jace, and when he kidnaps their loved ones and offers to exchange,
Clary and Jace must decide what to do. I
thought this was a great ending to the series and I think that most fantasy
lovers would enjoy this series, but I definitely would start at the beginning,
not with this book or anywhere in the middle.
