Upon finishing the manga based on this book and being told about the book series by Nathan I had to read it. This is the first book in the series apply named the Parasol Protectorate. It is advertised as a steampunk paranormal romance novel and delivers on all accounts.
I found it to be both interesting and entertaining. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and finding out where Carriger is going to go with this series.
