Leaving the infant girl in a sheep herding village Eddie goes about his lift for 16 years, until his vacation brings him back to the area. Curious about what happened to the baby, Eddie finds himself embroiled in a plot involving Kings and Sorceresses and must save the girl Isidora.
Fans of Jim Butcher and Simon R Green will be at home in this series with a wise ass hero with a ready quip. Very nicely written escapist fiction.
