In the newest installment in The Missing series, Jonah and Katherine are again time traveling, this time to 1918, when Alexie and Anastasia Romanov were kidnapped. The biggest problem is this time they have been kidnapped themselves by Alexie, who believes that they are all headed for the future, not his past, so that his blood disease can be cured and he can live a normal life. Now, they, with Chip and Anastasia (Daniella in the 21st Century) are all in 1918, on the day that Romanov family is supposed to be killed. All they have is one Elucidator that only has the power to send them to 1918 and make them invisible or visible. Daniella and Gavin (Alexie) are determined to also save their family and loyal servants. Jonah, Chip, and Katherine are desperately trying to come up with a plan that will allow them to do just that. This is a great, action-packed book that fans of the series are sure to love. The book could be read alone, but kids are likely to want to read the others in the series, even if they start with this one.
