The second book in the All The Wrong Questions series,
Lemony is still in Stain’d-By-The-Sea and the statue from the first book is
still missing. Lemony and his associate,
S. Theodora Markson have been called in to investigate the disappearance of a
young woman, Cleo Knight. Although
Theodora decides almost immediately that Miss Knight has run away and there is
nothing to investigate, Lemony knows better and sets out to investigate on his
own. He suspects that Hangfire, the
villain introduced in the previous book, may be responsible and during his
investigation encounters some other missing people and things. With the help of his friends, can Lemony find
Miss Knight before it’s too late? Kids
that liked Lemony Snicket’s other books or fans of mysteries will probably like
this series.
